I have a report that has multiple data sources one of which is a specific file in .csv format. This file is out of Rapid 7 an export where i cannot get a data connection. The report has all machines that has a specific vulnerability and the canned report does not have the vulnerability name in a column. I save the file with the vulnerability name and date(multiple files stored in this folder). I would like to add a column to the dataset that has the filename. I run this report for many vulnerabilities or different dates to track progress and I need the file name to show what I am working with. I also do a similar report with a .xls file from SCCM report. Constantly switching the source file.

I tried the link but the images are not coming up for me. Sorry it its not real clear basically i manually change a .csv connection to different files. I would like a way to show what file that data connection is connected too.
Hi @Anonymous ,
Are you trying to add a new column for filename in your dataset? Please refer to the similar post: https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Desktop/Retain-file-name-column-when-using-Folder-as-a-data-source-Power/td-p/22851 and the video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=whu1CsoZn1Q&feature=youtu.be
