Fields missing - Azure Cosmos DB

I recently connected Power BI to Azure Cosmos DB table and wanted to build a dashboard out of the data.

It had several columns, and expandable columns. But some of the fields I was looking for was missing.

Any idea why this happens and any workaround to get all the fields?

I experience the same issue, if the list I am looking to expand has no data in the sample rows pulled back when building the query, you don't get the option to expand. I've yet to find a solution for this 😞

Hi @maneesha,

Did you mean the data connector can't get the custom fields/properties that add on the data source side? AFAIK, power bi data connectors have pre-defined the responded table structure and they will get the common data table fields. 

If you want to get all the general and custom fields, please use a web connector with the rest API instead.
