Field type different from my dataset

In my dataset I have a column named "Äccount No." this is text and I changed its type to "text". However, when it appears in my query, it shows a date format. I selected "ÄBC" on query column of power bi but still showing different format from what I have ion my dataset. I am confused! Please help me.

Hi,

In the Query Editor, there should be a Change Type step (the second Step i guess).  Delete that step.  Alternativey, in the Advanced Editor, change the data type of this field from type date to type text.
