I have created a field parameter as below.
Test = {
("M1", NAMEOF(‘FactTable'[Measure1]), 0, "Units"),
("M2", NAMEOF(‘FactTable'[Measure2]), 1, "Value"),
("M3", NAMEOF('FactTable' [Measure3]), 2, "Units"),
("M4", NAMEOF(‘FactTable' [Measure4]), 3, "Value"),
("M5", NAMEOF(‘FactTable' [Measure5]), 4, "Units"),
("M6", NAMEOF(‘FactTable' [Measure6]), 5, "Value")
}
I am taking this(4th column) into slicer to select either Value or Units.
Now I have matrix visual, where I have taken the field parameter under values section. But it is not working..The same thing is working for Table.
I have taken calculated columns into field parameters. That is the reason it didn't work as expected. I modifed them to measures, now it's working.
Hi @Anonymous ,
You can check the following two reasons:
The Measure in the field parameter is not placed correctly on top of the Matrix Visual and does not match.
It is possible that the Measure in the field parameter is of a different data type than in the Matrix Visual, which could also cause problems.
If convenient, can you share sample data and sample output in table format? Or a sample pbix after removing sensitive data. We can better understand the problem and help you.

Liu Yang
