Field Parameter from Dataset Not Working in Report

I have a field parameter working great in the data model.

However, when I connect to the model via report, I do not see all the fields.

Do I need to create field parameters on a per report basis with a local model?

Any help is appreciated.

I am not sure why, but a day later this started working as expected. I am unsure of any changes that took place to make it work. We ended up with the field param on the dataset file.

@strongCoreZach very hard to tell why. Just wondering which columns from the field parameter table you are using on the slicer?

@strongCoreZach Also in the local file, see if turning on "show hidden items" can show these columns.

thank you Parry- unhiding the column does show them, but the parameter still doesn't behave as expected.
correct behavior from dataset:

error behavior from report connected to the dataset:

@strongCoreZach those columns are hidden by default, unhide and then you will see it.
