Fact Date join with Calendar Date

Dear All,

I want to create model based on Date field in Calendar table and Date field in Activity Details table. As you can see in the model , I have created Many to 1 connection.

But If I check the dates by putting into table then seems like Dates are not showing from Calendar table. It looks like there is some issue model.

Also I don't want time in Date in both the tables. (Attaching the pbix file also)

What you are doing is joining by date time and not by date. I guess two things can fix

1. Adding new column to have only date part, many ways to do it

(quick way)

Activity Submission Date = Date( Year('Activity details'[Activity Submission Date and time]), Month('Activity details'[Activity Submission Date and time]), Day('Activity details'[Activity Submission Date and time]))

Check or modify to your needs, the format of this new column. (has to be date data type)

2. In the model link, this new column to you date column in the table.

Similary, the date column has to be Date

Optional: this step should fix. if not, recreate the visualization. it should work; I tested it by creating new
