Facing Issues When Using the Append Query

Hello, I'm new to Power Query. Here's my situation:

There are two tables that a colleague updates. I use Power Query to update her data to my end:

She consistently updates two sheets in one Excel file:

Each sheet contains two rows:

I used append query to combine this two tabs from my end, then close & load as a table like this:

2.jpg

then in this table, I manually add a new column called comments(I didn’t do anything on the query, I assume this is the reason):

In the comment column, I want to take notes for each ID, but I noticed that when I refresh the query, some comments are not matching with what I had written before. For instance, some IDs have graduated and their comments are updated. However, when I refresh the query, it either shows "not yet" or "on draft". Can anyone help me with this issue?
