Hi,

Hope this helps:

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/desktop-tutorial-facebook-analytics

Best Regards,

Giotto

do you know if this is still possible? because there is a warning on this page

@samramaekers not sure what you are asking here. Microsoft has documented that this does not work. Facebook made changes and it is no longer compatible with it. Microsoft warned this was coming back in the fall of 2019, so this didn't just break. I suspect FB is cranking down on access in the name of security, and this broke. Or, MS was having to pay money to get access through the connector and stopped paying due to usage, cost, or both.

Whatever the cause, it doesn't work, and is documented as not working. As I said earlier, it may come back at some point, but I wouldn't hold my breath. With everything related to COVID19 right now, I suspect whatever work may have been going on to fix this, if any, was put on the back burner for both FB and MS.

According to this article, no, not as of Jan 2020. It says MS is working with Facebook on this, but I wouldn't hold my breath. They might fix it tomorrow, in November, or never.
