FInd Status at end of given month

Hi PBI Community,

I've been trying to figure out the best measure to calculate the number of devices in a specific status at the end of a given month. The problem is sometimes devices change status multiple times within a month so I only want where it finishes. 

I have tried CLOSINGBALANCEMONTH, I have tried MAX(status) but they all come back with the wrong info. Here are a few of the lines of my table that would give the data. This specific example should look like this....

New.Value	June 2023	July 2023
Available for Sale at HQ	1
Loaned		1

What I end up with is 

New.Value	June 2023	July 2023
	1
Availabe_for_loan	1
Available for sale at HQ	1
Loaned		1
