What's problem do you happen to when connecting to facebook with Power BI?

The documents your link points to is detailed, what's missing of it and what do you want?

I am not able to get the data as i expected, so i need some proper guidelines to get the data. There were lot of problems like not able to see the number of likes and comments and the type of reactions of my friends etc.,

As tested, you could select "comments"/"likes",,ect from the connection window.
