Hi.
We've made credentials, got the pro license and shared a pbi published workspace and app to an external user.
Testing the external user in a browser works fine. RLS works, everything works.
When I sign in to the microsoft power bi windows app (NOT dekstop, but the I guess mobile equilevant for windows), there's nothing to be seen on any of the tabs, including Apps and Shared with me. We are trying to make this windows app work, as it provides a convenient way to display the reports as an automated carousel.
I tried googling this quite a bit, but due to the naming concepts (published app vs. windows app) it got quite frustrating.
Any ideas? Thanks in advance,
Gabe

Hi, @Gabriel_Walkman
I think so. There are many restrictions on guest users' access. Just like sharing reports or apps, they all need the link in the shared email to open the report. If they don’t save the link and open their service homepage directly, they won’t be able to see the shared content.
If it doesn’t solve your problem, please feel free to ask me.
Best Regards

I talked with pbi helpdesk and they said it is sadly so that mobile / windows apps won't work with guest accounts.
We circumvented this by creating new credentials (+pro license) under our own organization, and then shared these credentials for the client to use. This way mobile + windows apps work.

@Gabriel_Walkman , refer if you need to allow access to other users.

Thanks, but as I said, the guest user works fine in the browser, so the guest has access. It's only the mobile and windows apps that don't work, so I don't see how this could be an issue with azure.
