I have a connector established to an external customer's SharePoint page with approved credentials but am facing a weird refresh issue.
Context
The client runs and disseminates excel data reports to SharePoint. Initially these files were being imported to a master excel file that created reports. As part of automation we're establishing a PowerBI connection to consume the data reports and produce desired visuals.
Issue
A sharepoint connector has been established to import files, but many of these files are coming through with only the column headers. The data itself is missing. Initially, I have found that unless a file has been opened at least once (by any user) the file will come through as column headers only. Once the file has been accessed by a user, the data populates.
I'm unsure if this is a PowerBI specific issue or a SharePoint issue, but any advice would be much appreciated.
Hi @Anonymous ,
What connector you use? After the file has been accessed by a user, has this error ever occurred?
