Export option for Table Visual in Power bi Desktop

Hi Everyone,

There is a need to export more than 30K records to excel in power bi desktop.

I have explored export data into xlsx format in table visual I couldn't get any information which I need.

Can anyone tell me whether this is possible in Table visual? if So how to do it?

Hi @Charu,

Currently, we can only export data from a visual to .csv rather than .xlsx files in Power BI desktop. The maximum number of rows that can be exported from Power BI Desktop to .csv is 30,000. 

For your requirement, you can publish the report to Power BI service, and export data to .xlsx files. But please note the maximum number of rows that can be exported to .xlsx is 150,000. See: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/power-bi-visualization-export-data#limitations-and-conside...

If I publish the Desktop report to PBI service Whether power bi service report could be embedded with web apps as power bi desktop report does?
