Export > Export to PDF cutting right side of report pages

Hello,

I am trying to print my report by going to File -> Export - > Export to PDF.

This has worked for me until today. Today the pages of the reports are incomplete with the right side of the pages cut of. It is as if the page settings have been set to actual when in fact they are set to Fit to Page.

Could the issue be with the latest update? Has anyone else come across this issue?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi @Anonymous ,

Please check whether your issue has been resolved after the new update of WebView2 Runtime.

If you are still having an issue, please confirm the following:

  1. Launch Power BI Desktop
  2. Once it's running, open the Task Manager and expand Power BI Desktop:

  3. Right-click on the WebView2 GPU Process and select "Properties"
  4. Go to the "Details" tab and confirm the version number is >= 118.0.2088.76

Best Regards,
Rico Zhou

Thanks. This worked for me except on a cover page where I have an imported jpg as a canvas background. Any ideas?

It doesn't work for me once my whole report is actually set in a longer size (2400x800), if I change it, it will be misconfigured anyway 😞

I have a similar issue that started today.

All of my reports will not print out of power bi today.

Changing the page to "Fit to Page" does not help.   Uninstalled/Re-installed Power BI.

I can confirm this issue.  I'm currently exporting PBI from 2 computers and while 1 will export and view just fine, the other crops off the right side in Adobe Acrobat.  I too have tried a few different view options but nothing has worked so far.  Hopefully, this will be resolved soon!

Yes indeed, I confirm this issue.

I installed the latest PBI update 2.122.746.0 64-bit (oktober 2023).
Export to pdf cuts out the complete page size settings, while I have thicked the FIT TO PAGE setting.

I'm having the exact same issue, never seen this before until today. It's also happening to multiple reports.

Things I have tried:

  • Looking through settings to find a print/page setup section to adjust (can't see anything)
  • changing page view to and from fit to page/fit to width/actual size before each export
  • saving as a different file name
  • accessing from a different desktop
  • accessing as a different user
  • accessing from an older version of Power BI

All of the above have not worked.
