Hi everyone,
I'm trying to export my matrix with drilled colums and rows. Contrary to what I've seen in a video exporting in PowerBI, I only seem to get the option to export in .CSV an not .XLS. The drilled colums get lost in the .CSV.
Does anyone have an idea how I can export my matrix to .XLS?
Greetings,
Pepijn
Try it from the service and not desktop?
Thank you, PowerBI service indeed HAS that option!
Unfortunately the drilled columns still appear as rows in my .XLS so I have the same problem..
@pepijntiktak,
What result would you like to get in Excel file? When we export data from matrix visual to excel, the drilled column and rows will be exported as columns in the exported table, you can check the following example.

Lydia
Hi Lynda,
The example you show does not export the subtotals or totals. Is there a work around for exporting exactly what is showing on the Power BI screen?
Was anyone able to slove this?
