Expand Next Level and Version?

Hi,

I am relatively new to Power BI Desktop and I am trying to understand why I don't have all of the features that I can find on You Tube tutorials.  I am very interested in the "Expand Next Level" feature and I cannot find this option on the ribbon (even grayed out) so I am wondering my version is outdated.   My IT department is telling me that Power BI should be updating versions automatically but I am thinking that I am not getting all of the great updates that are being pushed out. 

Am I doing something incorrectly or do I just have an old version of Power BI
