If I've got columns for year and period, is there a way to show both of those levels on a chart without creating a new year-period column?
In an Excel pivot chart, adding both columns to the chart would show two levels to the axis, so data is broken out by year and then period. In Power BI Desktop, adding both columns to the chart axis creates a hierarchy that only shows the year, with a drill-down to period. Hierarchies are cool, but I don't want it here. Drilling down with this setup only shows me one year at a time if drilling into one year, or I can drill all to the next level to show periods regardless of year.
In Power View in SharePoint, I think I had the option to toggle between the two options, either drill-down through the hierarchy or show all levels. Does that option exist in Power BI?
