Excluded filter

I came accross a filter for a Card visual and I don't know how it was created. Can someone tell me how this Excluded filter is created?

You seem to want to know how filters are created in card, here are some specific steps:

 

Here's some dummy data

Create a Card Visual. In my example, I put in the "Name" column.

 

Then click Card Visual and you can see the Filters Pane on the right.

 

Drag and drop the fields you want as Filters into "Add data fields here" in the Filters Pane. For example, the "ApprovalDate" column.

Click "Apply filter".

@Anonymous I assume that this is what you see when clicking on the funnel icon for the visual? Should check the Filters pane first.
