Hello 🙂
Each time I open my power BI, I have some Excel files that open automatically too.
Here is how my model is done now:
I have a Access database that is linked (with 'Link to the data source by creating a linked table) to 5/6 Excel files.
With these tables I do SQL request and have a 'final table' my Access.
Then I import this 'final table' in Power BI.
Now each time I open my Power BI, all my Excel files are open too and my computer lags for 5/10 min.
Have you got a solution for that? I could import the Excel datafiles directly from power BI and not Access I guess, but it would mean that i need to work on all my previous SQL requests 😕
Thanks for your help,
Greg
Hi @Anonymous ,
It's weird, I think the problem is on Access database side. Please try creating a new fact table as select * from 'final table' then import the new table to Power BI.
Best Regards,
Jay
