I have data coming from MySQL through a query. I am displaying the data in a table and when I click on the export button. it exports the dates in the data as date/time format, Now in my MySQL query, I am converting the date time format to date only like this
Date(registeredAt) AS 'Registered at'
but when I import the data in Power BI whilst it doesn't show the original time, it still pulls the data in the date/time format like this
24/10/2023 00:00:00
this could potentially be the reason why data export always includes the time. But I want the export to only have the date not the time. I am converting the date/time data type to date in Power BI but it;s not working. Any suggestions?
Solved! Go to Solution.
Select that Date/Time column, go to Add Column in Power Query > Date > Date Only.
Then delete the old column (date/time one) and apply changes. That always work for me.
