Hello Everyone,
I am currently using a scatter plot configured like this
As we can see the sorting on the X axis is not respected. In fact, the sort is done according to the filed placed in legend.
If i remove thos field, the the sorting becomes correct.
do you have any idea ? How to get around the problem ?
Thank in advance,
Vivien
Hi,
Is there any update regarding this issue ?
Thanks in advance,
Refael
Add a calculated column, then select the Legend field and Sort using the Sort by Column button.
Column = Table1[Age]
Hello,
I created column 2, I used it and the problem remains the same. Why creating a calculated column with only the source value can solve the problem?
Thank in advance,
Vivien
Keep your original fields for the visual. The new calculated column is used just for Sort by Column.
Hello,
If I do this I get the following error message:
Thank in advance,
Vivien
Check the following post as well.

The problem in my case is the sorting on the x-axis. Sorting is good as long as I'm not doing filters.
Once a filter is done, it makes a mix between the sorting of the legend and that of the x-axis.
After selecting the Age you also need to select Sort Ascending.
So it is a 2 step process:
1. Sort by Field
2. Sort Type (e.g. ASC or DESC)
