Error with slicer: Can't display this visual. Data range not available

Hi,

I have a slicer that gives this error message:

ua__0-1667834975793.png

I am not able to edit the slicer or select any values:

What does this error depends on and how can I solve it?

I am use Direct Query so I guess that is part of the reason why it is not working...

well a decimal is not a date so that would be  your issue.  Fix it at source to resolve the issue or see if you can convert it

Hey Folks, Sorry to resurrect this, but I am experiencing something similar, and it has only just started to happen. The difference is, I only get this message when I apply a particular filter. eg:

Works fine with this user filter applied:

However, with this particular user selected it disables with that message:

I have tried checking all dates for that users items and they are all fine, along with numerous other investigations into data mismatches, but I've hit a roadblock, and hoping someone may have a nugget of advice that can help.

Cheers

Hi,

The data is of type decimal number and comes from my fact table.

The table is also shown under field on the left pannel and looks as normal.

When I tried to import the table with import option instead of direct query the slicer worked fine, but I need to use direct query becuase of large amount of data.

Hello

When you try to edit the report, On the left pannel, under "Fields", do all the tables you wanna use appear as usable?
