After selecting Close & Apply after uploading and transforming excel file in Power Query editor , I get message" There are pending changes in your queries that have'nt been applied" and dialogue box with "Something went wrong - requested value'( )' was not found" and "Load - Requested value not found". Please help. Thank you.

Thanks for your response Ailsa. I was able to identify what the problem is and found a solution. The settings on my computer had to be changed for Region under the Windows Control panel from parenthesis ( ) to - for all fields.

Hi @PBI_newuser1

Looking at your error message, it seems that there is a value that has not been recognized, please check the value in your excel file .

How about loading the excel file directly in Desktop view ? You can have a try and then see if this data can be imported correctly .

Best Regard
