Error while connecting to teradata database in directquery mode

Hi all,

I have connected Teradata database with directQuery mode to power bi and when I load the data It shows me the below error:

Key cannot be null. Parameter name: key.

 

Whereas In import mode there is no such error caused

Hi @sheetals ,

 

Here're some requirements for your confirmation:

1.Power BI Desktop is the latest version.

2.Both the server name and data name are filled in correctly.

Also, as a workaround, you can try doing

File -> Options and settings -> Options -> Data Load (under global) -> Folded artifacts cache options -> clear cache

This should clear and regenrate the cache. (the error occurs when trying to read the cache.)

@Anonymous  I have cross checked the 3 requirements mentioned and all are correct  and up to date still it throws up same error. 

It works well with import mode
