I've suddenly started getting the below error message when refreshing/adding any Access data sources. Any ideas?

I could not link/get-data from an Access table that was an Office 32 bit installation where the PBI installation was a 64 bit installation.
I set up a work-around by exporting the Access table to Excel, and for some reason the 32 bit install involving Excel did not bother PBI.
I was never able to clarify why Excel is okay but Access not okay in this scenario.
Possibly your original set up was with Access/Office 64 bit and there was a change to a different PC with a different install?
Perhaps this helps.
It looks like it's a problem with my version of Access so I've temporarily gone back to the previous PowerBI version until I hear back that the issue is solved.
Hi @EMcEwen,
As you said, it seems that the issue related to your Access version, so why do you gone back to the previous PowerBI version?

Charlie Liao
