Error using ODBC data source

I set up an ODBC data source connecting to a MySQL db. Previously this worked fine. I just tried creating a new report, using the same data source and now I get an error after I select the two tables I want:

Failed to save modifications to the server. OLE DB or ODBC Error 22018 MySQL ODBC 5.3 (a)
The current operation was cancelled because another operation in the transaction failed.

I have the latest version of Power BI Desktop on Windows 7.

Hi @ginnibobinni,

Since I can't reprodue your issue, can you share some detail content of your issue?

If you directly get data from mysql, does it works?

BTW, based on research, the 22018 error is related to encode, you can also check your database if any unicode string stored in your database.

Xiaoxin Sheng
