Error "the specified package is invalid. the main part is missing" when loading spreadsheet

I receive this error when I try to load an Excel spreadsheet to Power BI.

There are several tabs within the spreadsheet which I load. Based on my search, it seems like the issue was to do with formatting (specifically fonts).

But what isn't clear is where the issue originates. If I change the font on one of the tabs, the data loads. But the odd thing is I can change the font on any tab and the data will load - it doesn't necessarily have to be a specific tab or all tabs.

There is conditional formatting and other formatting in the spreadsheet. The spreadsheet is an alteryx output, and therefore I've tried adjusting the font settings there, but to no avail.

The data is confidential so I can't attach it here unfortunately.
