Error on Search Field of Slicer

Hello,

In Power BI Desktop, I'm connecting to an Oracle data source and I've added a slicer that lists out my data.  I want to be able to type the value in the Search field of the slicer so I won't have to scroll thousands of records.  However, when I type in a value, I get error: ORA-00904: "t0"."<field_name>": invalid identifier".  I found this article (https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Issues/Query-Error-on-Search-Field-of-Slicer-when-Using-Direct-Quer...) where this user is experiencing the same issue.  However, there does not seem to be a resolution.  Is there a workaround for this issue?

As a workaround, instead of creating a relative date slicer, I've created a relative date filter.  So, I've added the column to filter as a "Filter on this page".  This seems to be a solution for my requirement.

Under the link you provided it is said that power bi does not support oracle 11. What version are you using?

I am using Oracle 10g.

Hi  @micheledubose ,

Are you using direct query connection mode?If so,it requires Oracle 12 or higher version.
