Hi PowerBI team,
I have started getting an error while connecting PowerBI desktop to Azure Data Lake Storage Gen1. It was working until this afternoon and all of a sudden it has started giving forbidden error.
ADLS Url: adl://ffo-prod-c14.azuredatalakestore.net/local/Analytics/
I am able to manually access the URL using the same account. So the access is still there but cant connect with PowerBI.
Also the scheduled refresh of PowerBI dashboards and credential does not work.
As far as access is concerned, I definitely have the permission to the ADLS location. I can perform CRUD operations there.
Can someone help me with solving this issue?
Thanks
Akash

Hi @akasthan ,
How to fix the Access to the Resource is Forbidden error
1) Reset the Data Connection to Re-enter Credentials.
2) Select an Alternative Log-in Option to Connect to Data
The “Access to the resource is forbidden” error can also arise when users select the wrong log-in options to connect their data sources with on the Access a window. For example, users trying to connect SharePoint Online via Power BI Desktop might need to select the Organizational account log-in option instead of Windows on the window shown directly below. So, try selecting an alternative log-in option through which to enter the log-in credentials.

@akasthan , In the Data Source setting under transform data, Use clear permission and give credential details again.
Also, check if some issues are reported here -https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Issues/idb-p/Issues
Hi @amitchandak
The problem is resolved not. Looks like it was something transient.
I actually did try clearing permission and re-entering credentials but it did not solve the problem when the issue was occuring.
Anyway Thanks for your time.
