As seen in the subject this error message keeps appearing when trying to import data from an Excel file in the Desktop Application of Power BI. I have reinstalled Office 365 and Power BI. Both Office 365 and Power BI are the 64 bit versions so no issues regarding that I assume. This error happens with any Excel file no matter the size or what is in it.
Have talked with others using Power BI in the company and nobody has seen this error before. None could recreate it either using the same Excel file or any Excel file for that matter.
Any ideas would be much appreciated as I can't seem to find anything online.

Hi @Evan1996 ,
Please firstly make sure the Power BI Desktop is the latest version.
And the reason for this is most likely that the value does not exist in the source anymore, or that one of the steps in your query is not correct.
To troubleshoot, you can go to Applied steps in Query Editor and check trough it to see where and why the issue starts occurring.
If you still cannot solve the issud, sorry for that, we do not found an effective solution.
We suggest you go to https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/support/ ,scroll down and click "CREATE SUPPORT TICKET" for further help if you are a pro user.

@Evan1996 this is weird, are you using the store version of Power BI or downloading directly and then installing it? Seems like it is a machine-specific issue, maybe open a support ticket and see if they can figure out.

This happens with both, originally used the Store version and it happened on that. Then tried using the direct download version and installing that but it happened with that version as well.
Attached is an actual screenshot of the error.
How do I open a support ticket? Was trying to do that orginally but couldn't see how so posted here instead
