Error Installing Template App - "Census Data Map"

Hi, I am using the PowerBI (free) and was trying to install the Census Data Map app using Get App but I am receiving the "There was a problem installing your template app" error while installing. Could you please help?

Hello, 

I still have the same error, and and can't upload "Census Data Map" , my acount is student account and i'm using the Power BI Pro (free) , could you advise why it can't be possible to uplpoad it please ? I need to finish my trainee with this apps ASAP.

I encountered the same error message while attempting to install the Census Data Map app.

For further assistance, you can try to contact the app owners directly for dedicated support. Not sure if you can contact them anymore, after all, the support page can't be displayed normally on this app intro page anymore.

Possible Reasons & Fixes:

Power BI Free Limitation

• Some template apps require Power BI Pro or Premium.
• Check if the Census Data Map app requires a Pro license. If so, you might need an upgrade.

Permission Issues

• If your Power BI tenant settings restrict app installations, your IT admin may need to enable it.
• Try accessing Admin Portal > Tenant settings (if you have admin rights) or ask your IT team.
