Hi, I was in Power BI trying to refresh the data file, when this message popped up: "Failed to save modifications to the server. Error returned: 'A table of multiple values was supplied where a single value was expected".
Does anyone have any ideas on how to solve this? Thank you in advance!
Hi @tinyinfinity,
Since the error was caused by data source refresh, was the table structure changed? Or just add some more data records? What visual or measure prompted above error? I would suggest you check all the measures one by one created based on the refreshed dataset. Some formulas may be not compatible with the new dataset. Could you provide more information about your scenario?
Best regards,
Yuliana Gu
I'm running into this issue as well. This is an existing dashboard to which no changes have been made. As a test, I created a new dashboard with one table - a view of my Date_Dim table that returns the last 32 days. The view has been used in a number of dashboards without error and has not changed. Now it's failing to load the data with the error "Failed to save modifications to the server". It's pretty obvious the issue is not with the dashboard or the data itself.
