Hi,
I fetch data via Denodo. Since I set up the incremental refresh in Power BI I get this error when refreshing the dataset:
ODBC: ERROR [HY000] ERROR: Error executing query. Total time 1.078 seconds. QUERY [VIRTUAL] [ERROR] QUERY [JDBC WRAPPER] [ERROR] QUERY [JDBC ROUTE] [CONNECTION_ERROR] Unexpected error creating a connection: Connection to 0c java.sql.SQLException: Error executing query. Total time 1.078 seconds. QUERY [VIRTUAL] [ERROR] QUERY [JDBC WRAPPER] [ERROR] QUERY [JDBC ROUTE] [CONNECTION_ERROR] Unexpected error creating a connection: Connection to 0c; Error while executing the query
Before the incremental refresh set up I never had such an error. Setting up incremental refresh was the only thing I did. Hence, it must be the reason for the error. Does anybody have an idea how to fix this?
Thanks
Henrik
Hi @HR3038511 - Please find the below reference links and i hope this helps.
Incremental refresh for semantic models in Power BI - Power BI | Microsoft Learn
Configuration of the ODBC Driver on Windows — Virtual DataPort Developer Guide
Test query folding by right-clicking a step in Power Query and checking if "View Native Query" is available.
If query folding is not supported, incremental refresh will fail.

Incremental refresh will not fail. It just won't give any time savings.
