Dear All,
I have created a report, in which the first row was promoted as headers. some of the columns had dates like "03-Jan-23", etc as the headers in the top row. It was working well even after promoting them as headers and "Unpivoting". But now it is showing up error. Below is the screenshot of the same. Tried with some options mentioned in some of the forums, but error still persists. Please advise:
Thanks
@mlsx4 , As mentioned previously, the issue seemed to have resolved after I deleted a step and created again.
However, today when I refreshed the data, the issue has propped again.
Could you please help. Thanks!
Is the same column?
yup, it is the same column.
same as the screenshot I had shared initially.
Have you checked the editor again? Did you apply changes and update everything properly? It seems that you keep trying to read a column that does not exist
Hi , I have not changed anything, but still issue is coming up.
Below are 2 screenshots for the steps, after which it is showing error:
and when I move to the next step - "Changed Type1" it is giving error
According to your picture, the column name isn't "44564" but "03-Jan-22", even if the number correspond to that date it's a string. I assume you haven't written it.
The only thing that comes to my mind is to postpone data type change. First unpivot, then rename the column and later on, change the type (if it is possible to you)
@mlsx4 , Thanks much for your reply.
There was a step of changing the Type; removed it and created again.
Seems to be working fine. However, in case the issue comes up again, will post it here.
Hi!
The error indicates that you have no longer a column called in this way. If you have change the name when promoting headers, you should edit it there. If the column has been removed, delete what you have highlighted.
