Error 40

Hello Experts,

 

I am trying to connect to dev environment of the SQL databse from Power BI desktop and I am seeing the following error:

I can access the same database using the same credentials using SQL server management Studio, but not through Power BI. Any ideas why?

I normally get this error when I misspell or have a typo in my server name - so quadruple check that everything there is correct. I don't think it's a credentials issue.
