Dear Team,
I am working on a visual to understand resources utilization over time. I have replicated a simple scenario where I have projects data with start and end date and some metrics I want to aggregate based on the time range.
This is my starting data:
I could not find a visual that would do it automatically, so I ended up doign the following:
1. create new table with list of dates
2. cross join the two tables and add custom columns that calculate resource usage if project was active on that date
3. plot with a simple line chart
I am wondering is this the expected way to go about it or is there some smarter/faster way to do it. Thank you for any advice on this.
