Effective Methods to do changes in Power BI

Which is the best method in power bi to categorize LAPW-Walkin Enquiry and LAPI,LAPB&LAI-Digital Lead without making changes where the data gets updated on its own?

Which is the best method to create alias values null-No Input 1-Hot, 2-Warm & 3-Cold without making changes where data gets updated on its own?

Hi @arjuns0028 ,

Your question is how to add categorized fields in Power BI? If yes, then you can utilize Power Query Editor to dynamically transform and categorize your data.
You can add a custom column, for example:

if [YourColumnName] = "LAPW" then "Category A"
else if [YourColumnName] = "LAPI" then "Category B"
else if [YourColumnName] = "LAPB" then "Category C"
else "Category D"

If I have misunderstood your needs, please feel free to contact us. Can you attach some sample data to illustrate your problem, preferably with the expected output as well, please.

Best Regards,
Gao
