Editable text boxes

Good day,

how do i display a text box or something similar showing text that is editable after publishing. I am creating a 'monthly status update' where there is a set of graphs and a text descriptor writteb by different members of the team. Therefore the text must be editable after publishing.

currently i am using an excel table where the contents are dynamically linked into the text box however this doesnt allow for using headings/bold fonts

thank you

You can bold the fonts, its just a bit finnicky. You can't bold specific parts of an inserted string, but you can bold an inserted string. E.g. that's what's going on here:

You just select the text and use the normal editor - I have better luck using the keyoard arrows and holding the shift key to select sometimes vs the mouse.

The only other way I know of to embed editable text is with the Power App visual and it's a pita.

In Power BI, directly editing text in a text box after publishing the report is not supported. However, you can achieve similar functionality by using a SharePoint list. It supports rich text, it will retain formatting such as bold and headings.
