Edit matrix column header size

Is there a way to decrease the column size while still maintaining the number of characters for all of the columns?

The problem is it is necessary to keep all texts for the columns (which could be >30 characters). There are too many columns to resize and edit manually. Is there a way to mass-edit the column size of a matrix?

Could you please confirm if you have raised it in the Ideas forum as suggested by @lbendlin , if you did, get as many upvotes as possible, as the Microsoft may consider to bring the most popular idea as a feature.
Thank you.

There is not.  If this is important to you please consider voting for an existing idea or raising a new one at https://ideas.fabric.microsoft.com

But - if you have that issue then you are using too many columns. Consider using a different visual or change columns and rows etc.
