Edit Query Freezing

I had just installed Power BI Desktop. I have 32-bit version of Office 2010 and I installed the 32-bit version of BI. Everytime I upload an excel file (be it a 97-03 or newer) and try to apply multiple filters or try to "Remove Rows", the whole program freezes or times out. No error or message shows up no matter how long I let it sit, and deleting 1 row shouldn't take 15 minutes. Also, it isn't my computer that freezes, but Power BI.

I have seen a few of the fixes that involve unchecking all autodection of relationships and not allowing preview of data, and I still ran into problems.

Also, I have run the same queries through Power Query in excel and there are no problems. So something has to be going on with Power BI Desktop, not the file or my computer.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, Thanks!

Edit Queries is crashing in the newest version of MS Power BI for me:

Version: 2.58.5103.501 64-bit (May, 2018)

As soon as I click it the screen turns white and the app closes.   I am using 2 spreadsheets on a network file share. Everything else works like data source settings and refresh. Please advise.  Thanks.

Thank you, I don't know how I missed that. I must have done several searches then gone through 20 pages on the forums before I posted my problem.
