Dynamically switch model relationship based on button click

Hi,
I have a tracker/forecast dashboard at my end. Currently the core base data relationship is set on a column called 'Startdate' from the database.  Graphs and other subsequent views are created, everything looks good.
Now there is a new requirement was asked where to add 2 buttons on the view so that if user clicks on 'Startdate' the graphs should be based on that and if user clicks on the button 'PublishDate', then the graphs should be based on that. So basically as per the model I have created I need to switch the table relationship dynamically on this button click.
Both these columns are available as separate date columns in my source data. Could someone help me on how to proceed with this?

You can use calculation groups to switch between relationships as explained here:

The same basic approach should work with field parameters too.
