Dynamically loading data tables

Hi All,

I'm having a bit of difficulty executing the below.

My team stores data in different tables within a SQL database each financial year.  For example, FY20 data is stored in Sales_FY20 table, FY21 data is stored in Sales_FY21 table and so forth.

The requirement is that i need to build a report that will dynamically load in tables in the future (i.e. once we finish FY22, a way to bring in the Sales_FY23 table without having to go in through 'Get Data'). The users would like access to historical data for at least previous 2 years as well as current year.

Since end users should be able to select prior year data, i'm not sure if parameters will work as my udnerstanding is that end users on the service cannot change query parameters?

Any suggestions will be very appreciated

@Anonymous , this solution propose a way for dynamic table name in power query. you can check if that can help. Based on year you can create a name and use. I have not tried this
