Dynamically change data source with DirectQuery

Hello,

I would like to dinamically change data source from my table based on CustomerId. I have created table that is giving me list of CustomerId and databaseName eg. 123,DB1;456,DB2. Eash database has one table Subscription that has same structure. I want to use DirectQuery to load Subscription table and I want when I embedd report that for user 123 he takes Subscription from DB1, and for user 456 he takes Subscription from DB2. I tried with parameters but it is only suported in Import mode.
Much appreciate for the help 🙂

Hi @ana2303  - Power BI does not natively support dynamic data source switching in DirectQuery mode, as parameters for database selection are only supported in Import mode.If you need a real-time solution, consider Power BI Paginated Reports with dynamic dataset switching.
