Hi,
I have unpivoted a table to get the columns and values and used it in matrix visual. I have used the columns field in the slicer so users can dynamically select and remove particular columns based on their needs from the matrix visual. Now the problem i am facing is that one coumn called counter needs to be always present in the matrix visual and that column should not be selected or deselected from the slicer. I am not sure how to do this so can someone help me to fix this issue

For ultimate flexibility enable "Personalize visuals" and teach your user how to use it.
Field Parameters do not support lists (yet)
Hi @lbendlin does that means Field parameters wont satisfy my requirement? And how personalize visual will help in my case as i need counter column should be always selected in the matrix irrespective of the other columns gets sliced by. Please let me know
Teach your users to always include that column when they personalize the visual.
You can only impact/freeze interactions between visuals, not inside a visual. If this is important to you please consider raising it at https://ideas.powerbi.com
@Greg_Deckler If i set Counter column not to be included in the slicer using visual level filter then it will not appear in my slicer but in my matrix visual i needs that counter column to be always present irrespective of what colmuns i select in the slicer visual
@Anonymous now with the new field parameters feature it's really easy.
Just put all the columns you want to toggle on off in the field paramater table and the other column beside it on the table visual:
@SpartaBI I am not sure how this will work for my solution. I have pasted the visual below and here i want the counter column should be always selected. Example if i select application id then the matrix visual should show application id along with that counter column. How field paramter will help here? please let me know
Thanks

@Anonymous
You will basically put all the measures and columns you want to toggle on one parameter table and the counter column / measure will be a stand alone.
You don't built this on top of your current solution rather create it from scratch and then put in a table visual (not matrix) like the pic from my previous message. It's really easy to do that, takes a few minutes.
Not sure how to explain forther than what I showed you.
Did you watched some video about it?

Thank you for the quick response. I will try this solution and let you know if it solves my issue
@Anonymous Can you just set a visual level filter on the slicer to not include that column?
