Dynamically Updating a Filter Selection Based on Another Filter

Hi

Is there a way to dynamically update a filter based on another filter selection event without having a relationship between them?

For ex - There is a Snapshot Selection filter that displays year->month combination.

SnapshotSelection.png

There is another Event year filter that displays a list of current as well previous years.

EventYear.png

Is it possible to automatically select 2019 as Event Year when Dec 2019 is selected in Snapshot Selection and automatically select 2020 as Event Year when Jan 2020 Snapshot is selected?

For a selected Snapshot, The user can then manually change it to any other Event Year from the list.

Unfortunately that did not solve the problem. This could have been the solution if the Event Year slicer were to hold different list of items for each snapshot. But in this case, the list of items to choose an Event Year is same for all snapshots, that is from 2014 to 2020.

Now is there a way, we can do some event driven based filter selection?

For example, lets say user selects Dec 2019 as snapshot and then selects 2019 as Event Year.

Next the user retains the Dec 2019 as snapshot but goes on to select 2018 as Event Year.

Now if the user selects Mar 2020 as snapshot, is it possible to automatically unselect 2018 and then select 2020 in the Event Year?

The user can then retain the same Mar 2020 snapshot but goes on to choose any other Event Year from the list.
