Hi,
I want to create a column SelectedYear. However, I want its value to be dependent on the Paramater the user may choose. Suppose the user chooses 2024, then it should hold 2024 values, if user selects 2023, then it should hold 2023 values.
Similarly I can create another column for AnotherYear based on another Parameter. In this way the user chooses which 2 years are to be compared.
Any help on how to achieve this would be appreciated. I only know how to do this in Tableau.
@ShonK20 , This is behavior of a measure(Implicit or explicit) in a visual
So if you have a table with year and value, put the year on the slicer, and the sum of value on visual, it should work
