Dynamic visual based on selection

Ive got a simple question....

 

Is it possible to change the values in a barchart based on a selection in another visual ?

For example.... I have a matrix with different projects and values in them and a barchart that show the values based on the matrix.

 

Obviously i can use a slicer or a dropdown but is it possible that when I select a project in the matrix the barchart just shows that project ?

The barchart now just highlights the values in the barchart based on the selection and greyes out the rest but i want the selection in the matrix to result in a filter so that the barchart only displays that project in stead of greying out the rest

@RonaldvdH yes change the interaction from cross highlighting to cross-filtering Filters and highlighting in Power BI reports - Power BI | Microsoft Docs

Yes this is a default capability in Power BI known as visual interactions where every visual on a report page can interact with other visuals.
