Dynamic value works for some measure but not for other and I can't understand why.

I created measure in two different tables. I created a text box and used the measures from one table and all went fine. I created a seperate text box and am trying to use the measure from the other table and they wont work. There is no reason why they shouldn't be working. All the measure are a percent value and are set up the exact same way. CAN SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME WHAT IS GOING ON!! These dynamic values should not be this hard to use. Is there a way to indicate a table and measure name other than the obvious.

For the one where it isn't working my table is names Moved Projects and the measure is called Moved Percent Over. I have tried:

Moved Projects Moved Percent Over

sum Moved Percent Over for Moved Projects

Moved Percent Over for Moved Projects

Moved Percent Over

[Moved Percent Over]

'Moved Projects'[Moved Percent Over]

I have even tried changing the name of the measure. It is not a hidden measure and there is no difference between the one that is working and the one that isn't working.

I do not want to use cards becuase this is a report and I am explaining certain measures.

Hi @ACraig08 ,

Thanks for the update, and totally understand that you can't share the original PBIX due to data privacy.

To help troubleshoot this further, could you please provide a sample PBIX file or a simplified version of your report with mock or anonymized data that still reproduces the issue? Even a small set of dummy data with the same table names, relationships, and measures would go a long way in helping us identify the root cause.

That way, we can test the behavior and provide an accurate solution without needing access to any sensitive information.

Measures need to be referred to as [Measure], so in your case [Moved Percent Over]

To help you, we need the pbix

If this helped, please consider giving kudos and mark as a solution

I tried that and it didn't work

Measures need to be referred to as [Measure], so in your case [Moved Percent Over], That was just a note

What you need to know if you want help:

share the pbix

We cannot guess what's happening without it. It might be a relationship problem, a DAX problem...

Unfortunetly I can't since it isn't public data.
