I am trying to find the easiest way to dynamically update my customer inventory with the latest software release for multiple products
i.e.
Product 1 is currently running software release "1X" but the newest Generally Available software is "1Y"
Product 2 is currently running software release "2X" but the newest Generally Available software is "2Y"
Product 3 is currently running software release "3X" but the newest Generally Available software is "3Y"
I have a custom column that checks if current software = latest GA software (but new software is delivered 3 monthly and i need an easy way to update)
Note: In real life there are 10 to 15 products and 100's of locations
Any advise or pointers would be appreciated
Regards
Gary Gray
Hi @Anonymous ,
You can try replacing X with Y.

Hi Stephen,
Thank you for response, yes it will work but not as elegant as had hoped
Would be nice to have one table that parameters could be changed and this updates all reports, plus is available to put as a visual in a presentation slide 🙂
