Dynamic value in text box no longer works after upgrade

Hi all,

Recently upgraded from April 2023 to October 2024 PowerBi Desktop.  For some reason I can no longer add measures to dynamic text boxes.  I enter the name of the measure but not is returned to select, and the option to 'save' remains disabled.  Adding the measure to a card returned the correct value, so it is not a problem with the measure.

This worked in April 2023.

Thank you very much danextian and ribisht17 for your prompt reply.

Currently power bi desktop has been updated to the November 2024 version. I tried to create the dynamic text box under the current version and he seems to be working fine.

You can try updating to the latest version.

What do you mean by dynamic text boxes? Please post a screenshot. Also, there is a big jump from April 2023  to October 2024.

A text box with dynamically updated text (based on a field or measure).

Yes understand there is a big jump between versions... unfortunately have had to hold off upgrading due to other bugs 🙂
